Following on from a strong first ever set of Avonwood results in 2022, we are delighted to share the latest set of all through (EYFS to Year 6) results for 2025. We are delighted to share our key headlines below.
For the 2024-25 academic year, 80% of Avonwood children met GLD (‘Good Level of Development’). This is significantly above the 2025 national average of 68%.
For the 2024-25 academic year, 88% of Year 1 children passed the phonics screening test. This is above the 2025 national average 84%.
For the 2024-25 academic year, 59% of Year 4 children scored full marks (25/25) on the multiplication tables check, with the average number of correct answers at 23.
This is well above the 2024 national average 34% scoring full marks and the national average number of correct answers was 20.6.
