Avonwood Results - Summer 2026

At Avonwood Primary School we are very proud of our consistently strong academic performance. Our Summer 2026 results place Avonwood significantly above national average in all areas. For more detailed headline results, please see the sections below.

Reception: EYFS

For the 2025-26 academic year, 80% of Avonwood children met GLD (‘Good Level of Development’). This is significantly above the 2025 national average of 68%.

Year 1: Phonics Screening

For the 2025-26 academic year, 88% of Year 1 children passed the phonics screening test. This is above the 2025 national average 80%.

Year 4: Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)

For the 2025-26 academic year, 54% of Year 4 children scored full marks (25/25) on the multiplication tables check, well above the 2025 national average 37% scoring full marks.
