We are all relieved that, after so many months at home, children in all year groups have been able to safely return to school to be with their friends and teachers.
I hope, therefore, that what is set out below gives everyone the reassurance they need about how the school will operate so that everyone is looked after well. The safety, health and well-being of everyone in the school is, of course, my highest priority. We will therefore be putting in place the full recommendations that the government scientists have made for ‘protective measures’ so that the school can be run safely, hygienically and with appropriate social distancing in place.
After a very successful reopening for EYFS and Year 1 children in the summer term, I have no doubt that the measures and plans we have in place will make the start of term a great success.
If any parents have concerns regarding the return to school then please do get in touch via email. I would also urge all parents to read our whole school July letter which provides specific details about how school will operate.
