March 2021 - Full School Reopening

On Monday 8th March we successfully welcomed all Avonwood Primary School children back to school, with attendance of over 98%.

The latest rate (26th April) was just 7 positive test results in 24 hours in the BCP area. This is great news and puts the risk of testing positive for covid into the similar band of risk levels to those we manage every day of our lives. Avonwood well placed to keep everyone safe with all bubbles benefiting from designated toilets, clearly marked playground spaces and large well ventilated classrooms.

Full details about our reopening plans can be found in our recent letter to parent.
